I learned about geography, it’s the study of earth and its features, for example the climate, plants, population and land use. I learned that there are two main branches of geography. They are physical geography and human (cultural) geography. Physical geography are the features, like rivers, mountains, volcanoes and climate. Cultural geography is adapting to the environment. You have to get used to the education, region, laws, your likes and dislikes. I also learned that geography has a history. Ancient Greeks, Arabs, Marco Polo (Middle Ages) and the Renaissance period studied geography. That’s all I have learned so far.

What is the issue?
The issue is that Kofi Annan has warned everyone that Iraq is going to start another civil war if they don’t stop fighting. 50 people died because of bomb attacks, shootings and kidnap killing.
Who is affected and how?
The people affected are anyone in Iraq, all of the soldiers and the UN. The people in Iraq and the soldiers are affected because they are getting attacked and if the war does begin a lot of people and soldiers are going to die or lose friends and family. The UN is also affected because they have to try to control the war.
Who is involved?
The people involved are soldiers, mos of the people in Iraq, the UN and Kofi Annan.
What would you do if you were directly involved?
The first thing I would do is listen to Kofi Annan’s warning and try to tell other people to stop fighting because they might start another civil war. If the war does start, I would try to move away and take all my family and fiends with me.

The assignement: My Summer Vacation
This summer I went to Colombia and Florida. In Colombia, I saw my grandparents and practically the rest of my family,that’s alive, on my mom’s side. I also went to the college my parents went to. It was really nice! I also went shopping at a shop called Ges. In Florida I went to my favourite restaurants,Taco Bell and Stevie B’s. I also saw Pirate’s of the Caribbean 2 at Regal Cinemas. That was my summer vacation.
