Ancient Africa Reflection
1. What did you learn from this task?
I learnt a lot about Ancient Ghana during this task. I learnt about the climate, the daily life and food. I also learnt lots of other facts about government and the architecture. The people in Ghana mostly ate soups with other side dishes. They would have either light palm nut soup or groundnut (peanut) soup. They would also add any meat (chicken, fish, goat or mutton) and sauces to the soup. Back then, they had exotic foods, for example: Gari foto which is eggs, onions, dried shrimp, tomatoes and gari and Agushi which is squash seed sauce, tomatoes and onions. I learned a lot more facts, so if you want to learn more click here.
2. Did you find this difficult or easy? Why?
I found this task in between difficult and easy. I found it easy because I have done a wiki before and wiki’s aren’t hard to do. I also had friends and teachers around me to help when I needed it. I found it a bit difficult because sometimes it was hard to find the information and pictures I needed. It was also a bit difficult finishing on time with all the extra details to make it look nicer. In the end, I found it a fun task that was pretty easy.
3. What would you change about the process you went through to complete the wiki if you were to do the assignment again?
If I were to do the assignment again, I would change only a part of the process. I would try to focus more on the information and less on the “decoration”. I would add all the information, organize it, add banners and then add all the extra details for example making sub-titles bold and underlined.
